kenzie and katie met in 2013 while attending college across the country from each other. after katie finished her career as a division one collegiate golfer, she went on to attend nursing school. kenzie worked in marketing on the east coast, eventually settling in virginia. the two married in 2017 and lived in 10 states before calling las vegas home for good in 2022.
after working in the marketing and advertising space for nearly a decade, kenzie sought to create something she could truly call her own. with the help of her lovely wife, a crafting savant since childhood, belle azalee was born... a true merging of their two crafts.
while katie continues to work as an intensive care nurse at a childrens hospital, kenzie has moved onto focusing on belle azalee full time and is excited to continue building a space that her community can easily call on as a wedding vendor.

upon launching belle azalee in 2022, katie and kenzie wanted to do something that made an impact. in the wake of a supreme court decision in favor of an anti lgbtq wedding vendor, their mission became clear.
among their own experiences as a queer couple, the two heard countless stories from those in their community noticing a change in the level of service as soon as it was known the couple was queer.
katie and kenzie created belle azalee in order to be that loud, proud safe space vendor within the wedding industry. couples sourcing their stationery from them can comfortably receive service free of judgment. regardless of how you identify or who you love, you will always be treated with care and kindness.
